Company Description
Capella Minerals Ltd. is a Canadian mineral exploration / development company with a focus on gold-copper projects in northern Finland & copper-cobalt projects in central Norway. The Company's northern Finland portfolio consists of 5 gold-copper projects - including the priority and former Anglo American plc Killero East project - in the highly-prospective Central Lapland Greenstone Belt. Drill permits are in hand for all five projects, with first drilling at Killero East expected to begin during winter 2024/25. The Company also retains exposure to further precious metals discoveries through a JV with Agnico Eagle at the Domain project in Manitoba, Canada. In central Norway, the Company's focus is on high-grade copper-cobalt-zinc VMS deposits in the former Lokken and Roros mining districts. The Company entered in to a strategic partnership with Teako Minerals in August, 2024, at Lokken and Capella retains a 10% carried interest to production on any discoveries. The Company also holds a 100% interest in the advanced exploration-stage Hessjogruva project. Capella's Management / Board have a wealth of technical and market experience, and a proven track record of success in making mineral discoveries. Success stories for the Capella team include Mariana Resources (high-grade Hod Maden gold-copper discovery in NE Turkey), Extorre Gold Mines (high-grade Cerro Moro gold-silver discovery in Argentina), and AngloGold Ashanti (Tropicana - Australia, Colosa - Colombia)
