Trek Resources, Inc.

Trek Resources, Inc. is an independent oil and gas producer that is engaged in the exploration, development, exploitation and acquisition of onshore oil and natural gas properties in the United States. The company was incorporated in the State of Utah in 1983 under the name of Quasar-Tech, Inc. and concentrated its efforts in the production of oil and natural gas. In 1992, Quasar-Tech, Inc. merged with a Texas corporation, McGowen Oil & Gas Company, Inc. and changed its name to McGowen Resources Company, Inc. The Company continued operations under this name until June, 2000 when the Company changed its name to Trek Resources, Inc. and became a Delaware corporation. Trek conducts the majority of its operations for itself and its affiliates in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Colorado. Trek and its affiliates also own non-operated interests in Kansas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, Montana, North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, Arkansas, Alabama, Illinois and Michigan. To date, Trek has grown its asset base almost exclusively through the acquisition and enhancement of producing properties and through the drill bit. In addition, Trek owns a 50% interest and is the managing member of UGGS Energy, LLC, a non-operating oil and gas limited liability company. Trek also owns a 50% interest in LandLine Systems, LLC, which is a land and production software package designed for the smaller company.
