As the merger proceeds on schedule, an additional CardTech member will join the Board of Directors. Mr. Giuseppe Venturini has been nominated to join the Board in the coming week and will also assume the position of interim CFO.
Mr. Giuseppe Venturini took his commercial pilot license at South Eastern School of Aeronautics (SESA) in Macon, Georgia in 1997.
Following the events of 9/11 on 2001, Mr. Venturini began to research on how to improve security inside airports.
His research let him to CardTech and to meeting with CardTech?s founder Mr. Fabrizio Borracci in 2005. Following the meeting, Giuseppe joined CardTech?s Research Team and has been part of the development of CardTech?s innovative biometric smartcard solution from the beginning.
In 2008, Giuseppe took part in a seminary led by Kenneth P. Morse and William K. Aulet from M.I.T. Entrepreneurship Center (Boston) at the Area Science Park in Trieste.
