Russell Ball is the former Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chair of Calibre Mining Corp. Previously, Mr. Ball was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Goldcorp Inc., a role he assumed in March 2016 after initially joining Goldcorp Inc. in 2013 and serving as Executive Vice President of Capital Projects, Strategy and Corporate Development, including oversight of their primary growth projects. Prior to his role with Goldcorp Inc., he served in varying capacities at Newmont Mining Corporation for almost twenty years, culminating with his appointment as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He currently serves on the Board of Trevali Mining Corporation and CopperBank Resources Corp.
After attending Gordonstoun School and the College of Law in London, Nigel joined Lloyds of London Insurance broker CT Bowring & Co in 1979, which subsequently became Marsh & McLennan. In 1997 Nigel joined Suffolk Life, an embryonic Insurance company. Nigel became a Director in 1998, and over the next 10 years played a pivotal role turning the company into the one of the UKâÂÂs leading self-invested personal pension (SIPP) administrators. Nigel was for many years not only the main Media contact at Suffolk Life, but also had sole responsibility for the Sales & Marketing of the business. By 2008 Suffolk Life had ã2.5 billion assets under management and the business was bought by Legal & General for ã62.5m. Since then Nigel has focused on his various Charitable & Investment interests, which are mainly in the commodity and precious metals space which has become a passion for Nigel.

Mr. Scammell has 40 years of experience in the mining and exploration industry in North America, México and Guatemala. In his career he has served as the Country Manager, Mexico for Teck Corporation, President of Scorpio Mining Corporation and Vice-President, Exploration of Tamaka Gold Corporation. He and his team discovered the 72MT San Nicolas VMS deposit and the El Limon gold skarn, México, and were responsible for the exploration, development and initial production of the Nuestra Señora polymetallic silver mine in Sonora, México.
Mr.Spiering is an exploration geologist with over 30 years of mineral exploration and senior project management experience in the Western United States, South America, and Europe. In his career, he has served as VP Exploration of Quaterra Resources Inc., Rio Narcea Gold Mines, Concord Minera Asturiana S.A. and has held senior technical positions with Centurion Mines Corporation and Energy Fuels Nuclear Inc. His work includes the discovery, project development and production of the El Valle gold and Aguablanca nickel mines in Spain.
