Northern is a canadian mineral resource exploration, development and production company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of graphite and other battery mineral properties. Northern is North America's only natural graphite producer. With the resumption of production at the Okanjande Project, Northern would become one of the world's largest non-Chinese natural graphite producers. The Company has adopted a mine-to-market strategy of becoming a vertically integrated supplier to traditional downstream customers and to the emerging market for battery anode material ("BAM"). The Company is focused on becoming a world leader in producing natural graphite and upgrading it into high value products critical to the green economy, including anode material for lithium-ion batteries ("LiBs"), electric vehicles ("EVs"), fuel cells and graphene, as well as advanced industrial technologies.
