The Movie Studio, Inc. is pleased to announce its distribution partnership with Pulp Video SRL to distribute the Company’s new full-length feature film “BAD ACTRESS” to the territory of Italy. The licensing and distribution agreement is valid until June 30, 2023 and is the result of successful negotiations between Pulp Video SRL and Gordon Scott Venters, Executive Producer and CEO of The Movie Studio, Inc.

As per the distribution agreement, Pulp Video SRL has cinematic rights to pay TV, home video + Blu Ray, terrestrial, cable and satellite for the sexy blockbuster comedy movie “Bad Actress.” Pulp Video SRL also receives rights to present “Bad Actress” on VOD/SVOD (Video on Demand). Languages for the movie include the original English version and an Italian version.

Italy’s market share of the film industry increased an estimated 28.71% in the past year. With over 100.5 million spectators in Italy, the amount of films distributed in 2016 grew to 554 (of which 199 were Italian) from 480 (of which 186 were Italian) in 2015.

The blockbuster comedy “Bad Actress” stars Colombian film sensation Excelina as Valentina. In the film, her character decides to become the anti “Sofia Vergara” where nothing is as it seems in this comedy film with a surprise ending and twist that completes this ‘feel good’ movie.

The film also stars Michael Gibb, son of singer songwriter Barry Gibb, of the iconic musical group the Bee Gees. Michael Gibb makes his acting debut in “Bad Actress.”
