David Batista has over 30 years of diversified capital markets experience as a principal investor, trader and investment banker, and founded Viriathus in 2007. Prior to founding Viriathus, he was a Managing Director at HPC Capital Management and was responsible for their New York Private Capital Markets activities. Previous to his work at HPC Capital, he was a Vice President of NASDAQ trading at SoundView Technology Group, a technology-focused research and trading boutique based in Old Greenwich Connecticut. David also spent three years as a senior NASDAQ trader at JW Charles Securities and its successor JW Genesis Securities in Boca Raton Florida. He began his professional career with Lehman Brothers in New York initially as an investment banking analyst, and subsequently began his trading career on Lehman's NASDAQ desk. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and a Certificate in international marketing from C.W. Post College.
Mr Bowen is a partner of the national law firm Thomson Geer. He practices primarily corporate, commercial and securities law with over 40 years of experience and emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, capital raisings and resources. He is also a Non-Executive Director of ASX listed company Omni Bridgeway Limited, where he is chair of the remuneration committee and a member of the audit and risk, corporate governance and nomination committees. Mr Bowen holds a Bachelor of Laws, Jurisprudence and Commerce from the University of Western Australia. He has been admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia since 1979 and is also admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Australia. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Australian Society of Accountants.

Lotus is focused on our future. Lotus owns an 85% interest in the Kayelekera Uranium Project in Malawi, and 100% of the Letlhakane Uranium Project in Botswana. The Kayelekera Project hosts a current mineral resource of 51.1Mlbs U3O8, and historically produced ~11MIb of uranium between 2009 and 2014. The Company completed a positive Restart Definitive Study which has determined an Ore Reserve of 23Mlbs U3O8 and demonstrated that Kayelekera as one of the lowest capital cost uranium projects globally whilst also having the ability to quickly recommence production. The Company is progressing the accelerated restart of Kayelekera with first production targeted for Q3 2025. The Letlhakane Project is a greenfield project which hosts a current mineral resource of 113.7Mlbs U3O8. It is in early-stage development project with a mining and environmental licence already in place. Lotus is undertaking a series of technical and engineering studies to optimise the mining and processing strategy for the project.
