Ms. Enescu obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in Law from Bond University, Faculty of Law in Gold Coast, Australia, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), English and French (Hons. Double Major), from York University, in Toronto, Canada and studied International Law at London School of Economics (LSE) in London, UK. Prior to joining CannaRoyalty, Ms. Enescu worked in the securities group at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP where she represented both public and private companies and investment dealers in a variety of transactions, including corporate financing, public mergers and acquisitions. Her practice also included advising issuers in respect to general corporate and securities law matters, and worked closely with clients to develop and implement practical and informed corporate strategies with a focus on legal risk assessments, compliance, due diligence and risk allocation advice. Ms. Enescu represented clients in a variety of industries including mining, business, commercial finance, renewable energy, technology and cybersecurity.
