Lei Wang, CPA, CGA, has more than 20 years of experience in the natural mineral resources sector. Ms. Wang has been integrally involved in all areas of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, treasury, tax and corporate finance activities for both publicly traded resource companies and privately held companies. Ms. Wang has held various financial roles, including CFO, in the Canadian mineral resources industry since 2001, and prior to that, Ms. Wang worked at Schlumberger in Aberdeen, Scotland and Glencore International in Beijing, China.
Dr. Patton graduated from the University of Washington in 1971 (Ph.D.) and has worked in the exploration industry for over forty years as a field geologist, consultant and executive officer of both junior and senior mining companies. His work has been primarily in North America, where he and his teams have played major roles in several significant discoveries and reserve expansions of existing operations. Before joining Quaterra on a full-time basis, Tom was President and COO of Western Silver Corporation from 1998 to May 2006. The highlights of this period were the discovery and delineation of the world-class Peñasquito silver-gold-lead-zinc deposit in Zacatecas, Mexico, and the subsequent sale of the company to Glamis Gold Ltd.
Mr. Naugle is a seasoned executive and officer in gold, copper and strategic & critical metals mining companies. He participated in the design, construction, and operation of mining projects in the U.S., Eurasia, Russia, and Asia. His track record includes a focus on environmental and sustainability initiatives in collaboration with local and indigenous peoples, numerous asset- and company-level transactions, negotiating international joint ventures, and securing a bilateral mining treaty between two sovereign nations. A licensed Professional Engineer, Mr. Naugle received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a degree in mining engineering from Montana Tech.
Mr. Alford has over thirty years of executive leadership and is the Founder and President of PBA Consultants, Inc., since April 1996, a consulting firm specializing in tax savings and cost reduction services, for many of the fortune 500 companies across the USA. Mr. Alford is also the Founder and CEO of Alford & Associates Inc., since 1993, a company which makes investments in real estate investment properties and natural resource companies. Mr. Alford attended Elon College in North Carolina and Liberty University, in Virginia where he studied business management and marketing. In 2009-2010 Mr. Alford was appointed as a director of Revett Minerals Company and was part of the Revett team that rang the bell on the NYSE Amex listing on Wall Street. He currently serves as a local board member for Wells Fargo Bank of NC, and several other nonprofit organizational boards. He and his wife Chris, founded their own foundation to support orphan care and mission work across the world.
