Mr. Currie most recently served as Director, Investment Banking at Canaccord Genuity Limited where he concentrated specifically on the junior mining sector. He retired from Canaccord in August 2012. Prior to his role in Investment Banking he was with Canaccord as a Senior Mining Analyst who focused, for over 22 years, on the junior mining sector. Mr. Currie has over three decades of industry experience directed specifically on junior exploration and development companies worldwide, and has extensive knowledge of the capital markets as it relates to the mineral exploration and mining industry.

Co-Founder of a private equity/venture capital group investing in mineral exploration opportunities globally. Over 25 years of experience in regional management roles, entrepreneurial ventures, and investments in natural resources. Currently serves as a Non-Executive Director for Inflection Resources (CSE: AUCU).

Over 35 years of global Au and Cu exploration experience, including leading Newcrest's global exploration team from 2008 - 2023. Passion for exploration, leading and developing exploration teams and discovery. Track record of discovery and being involved with transformation acquisitions. Comprehensive expertise in Near-Mine, Brownfield, and Greenfield exploration across different cultural and geographical settings, including Australia, Indonesia, PNG, Western Canada, USA, Ecuador, Argentina, and Chile.

Most recently was President and CEO of Exeter Resource Corp. which controlled the Caspiche Au – Cu deposit in Chile. Exeter was successfully purchased by Goldcorp in June 2017. 30 years of combined experience in capital markets, mining and mineral exploration / development. Previously served as Director, Research Analyst, Metals and Mining (Canaccord Genuity Corp.), Vice President of Research and Institutional Sales and President and CEO of a wholly owned US subsidiary (PI Financial).
