Anthony (Tony) Makuch - former President & CEO of Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours Applied Earth Sciences) from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, and both a Masters of Science Degree in Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from Queen's University in Ontario. Tony is also a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors and has his ICD.D designation. He is a professional engineer (Ontario) with over 35 years of management, operations and technical experience in the mining industry, having managed numerous projects in Canada and the United States from advanced exploration through production. Mr. Makuch was President and CEO at Lake Shore Gold Inc., from 2008 until its acquisition by Tahoe Resources on April 1, 2016, where he became the Executive Vice-President and President of Canadian Operations. Between January 2006 and March 1, 2008, Mr. Makuch was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for FNX Mining Company Inc. From 1998 to December 2005, he held progressively senior positions with Dynatec Corporation, including VP, Operations. From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Makuch worked with Kinross Gold Corporation at a number of their North American operations, which included his role as General Manager of the Kirkland Lake Operations at the Macassa Mine and Timmins Operations - Hoyle Pond Mine.
Mr. Rocque is a mining engineer with over 35 years of experience. He has worked at many gold mines in Canada, including as Vice President Operations and Technical Services for Kirkland Lake Gold, Vice President Engineering for St Andrew Goldfields, Director Technical Services at Lake Shore Gold, Chief Engineer at the Red Lake, QR and Macassa mines, Rock Mechanics Engineer at Hemlo's Golden Giant Mine and various mining engineering roles at Hoyle Pond, Mobrun, and Agnico-Eagle's Joutel mines. Mr. Rocque also worked as Manager Mine Improvement Projects and Chief Engineer-Geotechnical at WMC (now BHP Billiton) Olympic Dam mine in Australia prior to joining AMEC (now Wood) as Manager Mining and Geology and later worked as the Global Practice Director - Mining at Hatch. Mr. Rocque graduated from l'Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal with a Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering in 1986 and from Queen's University at Kingston with a Master's degree in Mining Engineering in 1992. He is registered as a professional engineer with PEO.
Alison White is the Chief Financial Officer at Discovery, bringing over 20 years of executive finance leadership across diverse industries including mining, technology, and industrial manufacturing. As a seasoned finance executive, she has a track record of building teams that specialize in strategic business transformation, capital markets, treasury management, and regulatory compliance at large, global public companies. Before joining Discovery, Alison served as CFO and Executive Vice President at a NASDAQ & TSX traded precious metals mining company for three years, where she led comprehensive transformation initiatives across finance, accounting, treasury, tax, IT, cybersecurity, internal audit and enterprise risk management functions. She previously held various executive roles at Newmont Corporation, including serving as the CFO of the North American region that formed the Nevada Gold Mines Joint Venture and as the Newmont Assistant Treasurer. Amy Hu is a lawyer with more than 15 years of international experience across North and South America, Africa, and Australia, having played a pivotal role in guiding public companies through major M&As, crisis response, ESG and governance advice. Prior to joining the Discovery team, Amy served as Deputy General Counsel, Operations Legal Support at Newmont Corporation, where she led a 70+ person legal team across nine countries. A recognized expert in corporate law, ESG, and stakeholder engagement, Amy has negotiated long-term agreements with many Indigenous communities and contributed to sustainable strategies for mining companies. She is a Certified Corporate Governance Professional, licensed in both Canada and the U.S., and holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto.
Mr. Gemmell has more than 15 years of mining industry experience across capital markets, exploration, project development and operations. This experience includes senior management roles focused on corporate strategy, acquisition and divestitures, investor relations, capital raising, feasibility studies and project optimization. Mr. Gemmell was most recently VP of Corporate Development at Guyana Goldfields Inc., a mid-tier gold producer with operations in Guyana. Mr. Gemmell oversaw the merger and acquisitions strategy for the company, managed and supervised the completion of multiple feasibility studies, and played a key role in overseeing several construction and development projects. Prior to this role, Mr. Gemmell was the CEO of Lago Dourado Minerals Ltd., a gold exploration company focused on Brazil. Mr. Gemmell also worked in the capital markets earlier in his career, both on the sell-side, as an equity research analyst covering the precious metals sector with Raymond James Ltd., and on the buy-side, as an equity analyst with Colonial First State in Sydney, Australia. Mr. Gemmell holds a Bachelor of Economics (Actuarial Studies) and is a CFA charterholder.
Ms. Wagner is a corporate securities lawyer with over 15 years of experience in the mining sector. Prior to its acquisition by Agnico Eagle Mins Limited, she was the Executive Vice-President, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. Prior to joining Kirkland Lake in 2015, she acted as legal counsel and corporate secretary to various TSX and TSXV listed mining companies. Ms. Wagner has extensive experience advising companies on a variety of corporate commercial transactions, governance, and compliance matters. Ms. Wagner received a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and an LL.B. from the University of Windsor.
Mr. L'Abbe is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) and brings over 14 years of financial and accounting experience in the mining sector, with a primary focus on Latin American assets. He has held key finance and strategy positions with several high-profile producing mining companies. Prior to joining Discovery Silver, Mr. L'Abbe served as Director of Finance at Tahoe Resource Inc. ("Tahoe"), where he was involved in the acquisitions of Rio Alto Mining Limited and Lake Shore Gold Corp. He also spent a significant portion of his time with Tahoe in Peru working with the teams at the local offices and on site at the La Arena and Shahuindo mines, as well as in Guatemala at the flagship Escobal mine. Prior to joining Tahoe, Mr. L'Abbe served as VP Finance at Timmins Gold Corp. spending substantial time on site in Mexico at the San Francisco mine. Andreas also worked as a Financial Reporting Analyst for Goldcorp Inc. and worked at the Red Lake Mine in Canada and the Cerro Negro project in Argentina. Before moving to the mining sector, Mr. L'Abbe was a public accountant at Grant Thornton LLP in their Assurance and Business Advisory Services group, working primarily with exploration, development and producing mining clients. Mr. L'Abbe holds both Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University.
Mr Kallio is a Professional Geologist (P.Geo) with over 39 years of experience working on exploration, mine operations and, scoping and feasibility studies, with his most recent fulltime role being Executive Vice President Exploration Strategy and Growth for Agnico Eagle Mines (2022-2023). Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Exploration at Kirkland Lake Gold (2018-2022), Vice President of Exploration Canada at Tahoe Resources Inc (2016-2018), Senior Vice President of Exploration at Lake Shore Gold Corp. (2008-2016) and a variety of additional senior exploration and mine geology positions at Placer Dome, Kinross Gold, Centerra Gold, Detour Gold and Patricia Mining. Mr. Kallio also consulted on several Canadian and international exploration projects and was a former Director at Holmer Gold Mines Limited and RT Minerals. During past work he has been instrumental in the discovery or advancement of several successful projects including the Dome Mine Open Pit (Timmins ON), the Detour Lake Open Pit (Cochrane ON), the Timmins West and Bell Creek Mines (Timmins ON) and the Island Gold project (near Wawa ON). He also played a key role in drilling and evaluation work for the Fosterville Mine Swan Zone (Bendigo), Hoyle Pond Mine 1060 Zone (Timmins), Back River Project (Nunavut), Shakespeare Project (West of Sudbury) and the Mary River Project (Northern Baffin Island).
Mr. John is currently Chairman of Prime Mining and a Director of Osisko Gold Royalties and O3 Mining. Prior to retirement in December 2014, Mr. John was President and Chief Executive Officer of Dundee Resources Limited, a private resource-focused investment company, and Managing Director and a Portfolio Manager with Goodman Investment Counsel, where he was responsible for managing resource and precious metals focused mutual funds and flow-through limited partnerships. Mr. John is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Corona Gold Corporation and Ryan Gold Corp. He is also a former director of several other public companies including Breakwater Resources, Dundee Precious Metals and Osisko Mining. He has been involved with the resource investment industry since 1992 and has worked as an investment banker, buy-side mining analyst, sell-side mining analyst and portfolio manager. Mr. John graduated from the Camborne School of Mines in 1980 with a B. Sc (Hons) in mining engineering and has extensive industry experience working as a mining engineer for Strathcona Mineral Services, Nanisivik Mines and Eldorado Nuclear. He also received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto in 1992.

Mr. Parr serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Agnico Eagle Mines Limited. Prior to the merger of the two companies Jeff served as the Chairman of the Board for Kirkland Lake Gold (2019 - 2022) and preceding that, Independent Director from 2014 - 2019. He has over 30 years of executive leadership experience in the mining and related industries. Mr. Parr joined Centerra Gold Inc in 2006 as VP Finance and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2008 where he served until his retirement in 2016. Mr. Parr was also the Chief Financial Officer for Acres International for nine years. From 1988 to 1997 he held progressively senior financial positions at WMC International (a subsidiary of Western Mining Corporation) with responsibility for operations and exploration in the Americas. He ultimately served as the Company's Executive Vice President. Mr. Parr is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA 1984) and obtained the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors (2018). He holds a Masters of Business Administration (McMaster University) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (University of Western Ontario).
Dr. Smith is Vice-President Exploration and Geoscience with Liberty Gold. Formerly Chief Geologist, Nevada, for Fronteer Gold, Dr. Smith was instrumental in the successful advancement of Long Canyon, Fronteer Goldâs flagship project. She developed an understanding of the geology and controls on mineralization at Long Canyon, and built the geological model for ongoing exploration and resource growth. Prior to Fronteer Gold, she served as U.S. Exploration Manager, Senior Geologist and Project Manager for Teck Resources Ltd., where she managed exploration programs for several high-profile, advanced-stage projects throughout the Americas, including the 5.5 million ounce Pogo gold deposit, now in production; the 1.5 billion tonne Petaquilla Cu-MoAu porphyry deposit in Panama; and the 3.5 million ounce El Limon gold deposit in Mexico. Dr. Smith has a Ph.D. in geology from the University of Arizona and is a P.Geo. (British Columbia). She has held board or executive positions with numerous industry associations and was formerly a Councilor and Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists.
