Peter G. Williston is the Chief Executive Officer for Citizens Bancorp and Citizens Bank, having joined the bank in 2005. After graduating from Louisiana State University in 1978 with a degree in accounting, Williston worked as a CPA and audit manager with Coopers & Lybrand in Houston Texas, and New Orleans, Louisiana. He joined Union Planters Bank in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1983 where he served as audit department manager, controller of the Memphis banking operation, and regional manager. Williston later worked for Vail Banks, Inc. in Avon, Colorado from 2000 until 2004 as Chief Financial Officer. In 2005, he joined Citizens Bank in preparation to assume the role of CEO. Williston has been involved professionally with the Tennessee Bankers Association, where he has served as Chairman of the BankPAC Committee and the Government Relations Committee. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Williston has forty-two years of banking and forty-seven years of financial and accounting experience. He has served on the board of Citizens Bancorp and Citizens Bank since 2005.

President

Thomas E. (Tommy) Anderton is the Vice-Chairman and President of Citizens Bancorp Investment, Inc. and President of Citizens Bank, a position he has held since July 2019. He joined Citizens Bank as Regional President in 2015 following the acquisition of Traders Bank, where he had served as the President from 2009 until 2015. He served as the President of First National Bank in Shelbyville, Tennessee from 1994 to 2009 and President of Dekalb County Bank in Alexandria, Tennessee from 1987 to 1994. Before entering community banking, Mr. Anderton worked in correspondent banking and commercial lending with Union Planters Bank and Commerce Union Bank in Middle Tennessee. Anderton graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Finance. Anderton was appointed to the board of directors for Citizens Bancorp and Citizens Bank in 2018 and serves on the Nominating Committee and the Directors Loan Committee. Anderton has 47 years of banking experience and has served on the board of directors of four community banks in Middle Tennessee.

Arthur O. Taylor

Arthur O. Taylor, Jr. is the Chief Financial Officer for Citizens Bancorp Investment and Citizens Bank, having joined the company in 2013. After graduating from the University of Tennessee - Martin in 1983 with a degree in accounting, Taylor began his banking career with First State Bancorp, Inc. of Caruthersville Missouri. During the 23 years tenure with First State Bancorp, Inc., he served as Chief Financial Officer of the holding company, Chief Financial Officer of First State Bank and Trust, and as President of First State Bancorp Community Development Corporation. Taylor later served as Chief Financial Officer of several community banks in the Southeastern U.S. before joining Citizens Bancorp Investments in 2013. Mr. Taylor has 38 years of banking experience managing and directing the financial and operational plans of the company, managing the securities portfolio, serving as ALCO Chairman and completing several mergers and acquisitions.

Joe M. Carter was the President of Citizens Bank from 2005 until his retirement in 2019. Carter began his career in banking in 1978 with Citizens Bank and became Vice President and Cashier in 1985. Carter was appointed to the Board of Directors of Citizens Bancorp and Citizens Bank in 2005, and he continues to serve on the bank's Senior Loan Committee, Directors Loan Committee, Nominating Committee and the Compensation Committee. Marty Maynord is currently the CFO of The Realty Firm in Cookeville, TN. He is also a licensed real estate agent in Tennessee. Marty retired in 2022 after spending 30 years in the banking industry. Most recently, he was the CEO of American Bank & Trust of the Cumberlands from 2009 to 2022. Prior to American Bank & Trust, he spent 17 years with First National Bank of Tennessee. As a registered pharmacist, she has over 33 years of experience with the development, implementation, assessment and administration of clinical pharmacy intervention programs, quality management programs, dosing protocol, therapy guidelines and consultation for hospitals and nursing homes.
