Company Description
BANNERMAN ENERGY LTD. Company Logo
Bannerman Energy Ltd. is listed on the Australian and Namibian stock exchanges and traded on the OTCQX Market in the US. Its flagship asset is the Etango Uranium Project in Namibia's Erongo Region. Etango has undergone 15 years of exploration and feasibility studies. A December 2022 Definitive Feasibility Study confirmed the viability of open pit mining and heap leach processing at 8Mtpa throughput, with an annual output of 3.5 Mlbs U3O8. A March 2024 scoping study indicated potential to expand production to 6.7 Mlbs U3O8. The project includes the Etango Heap Leach Demonstration Plant, which de-risked the heap leach process. Environmental approvals for the proposed mine and infrastructure are based on a 12-year baseline. Bannerman received the Mining Licence in December 2023 and is advancing workstreams towards a positive Final Investment Decision (FID). Namibia with a 45-year history of uranium production and support from the government and community, is a prime uranium investment jurisdiction. As the world's third-largest uranium producer, Namibia offers political stability, security, and a strong rule of law. The Bannerman team has experience in uranium projects in Namibia and connections in the nuclear power industry. Bannerman is an ESG leader in the uranium sector and within Namibia for social development and community engagement. The company follows best-practice governance and received the 2023 African Mining Indaba's ESG Award for Community Engagement bannermanenergy
