Alvopetro Energy Ltd. is engaged in the exploration for and the acquisition, development and production of natural gas and oil in the Recôncavo basin onshore Brazil and in Western Saskatchewan.
Alvopetro holds interests in the Cabure and Murucututu natural gas assets, two oil fields and one other exploration block in Brazil as well as a 50% non-operated working interest in Western Saskatchewan. In Brazil, Alvopetro's share of natural gas from the Cabure field (56.2%) as wellas its 100% Murucututu field are shipped via transfer pipeline and processed through the natural gas processing facility owned and operated by Enerflex Ltd. and ultimately sold to Bahiagas, the state distribution company, under Alvopetro's long-term gas sales agreement.
