Emerald Health Therapeutics Announces Shares for Debt Transaction
NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO UNITED STATES NEWSWIRE SERVICES OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, August 21, 2020 -- Emerald Health Therapeutics, Inc. (the "Company") (TSXV:EMH; OTCQX:EMHTF) today announced that it has reached an agreement with the holders of convertible debentures of the Company issued on September 10, 2019 (the "Convertible Debentures") to settle accrued interest on the Convertible Debentures to June 30, 2020 in the amount of $625,000 by issuing an additional 3,571,428 common shares of the Company (the "Debt Shares") at a deemed value of $0.175 per share (the "Debt Settlement"). The Debt Settlement is subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. All Debt Shares issued in connection with the Debt Settlement are subject to a statutory hold period of four months plus a day from the date of issuance of the Debt Shares in accordance with applicable securities legislation.
