Eric Mitchell has over thirty years of financial and business development experience across multiple industries. Mr. Mitchell started his career in 1990 as an executive with Sony Pictures Entertainment's Tri-Star Pictures division, where he assisted Tri-Star's Vice Chairman in acquiring multi-picture distribution rights to such hits as TOTAL RECALL, BASIC INSTINCT, and TERMINATOR 2. Hired as an advisor to the Chairman of Crusader Entertainment/Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) in 2001, Mitchell helped Crusader raise over $300 million and produce eight motion pictures, including Oscar and Golden Globe award-winning RAY and action blockbuster SAHARA. In 2003 Mitchell joined Ascendant Pictures and German-based VIP Mediafonds as an advisor, where he structured the fund's film production investment template, and supervised an investment of over $500 million USD into the production of twenty-one feature films, including LORD OF WAR and LUCKY NUMBER SLEVIN. Mr. Mitchell was then named COO of Baldwin Entertainment Group in 2006 and managed all operations including production and business development. Eric joined WRIT Media Group as CFO in 2011 and became its CEO and Chairman in late 2012. Eric is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and received his Master's in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management.
