Bob D Ferris
CEO

Bob Ferris serves as CEO. He is the founder of the pre-merger VirTra company (Ferris Productions, Inc.) since 1993 and in 2008 became CEO of VirTra. Bob attended the US Air Force Academy and received a degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona with a minor in Software. Mr. Ferris has been awarded multiple patents, spoken at various trade shows, and developed groundbreaking simulation products highlighted in magazines such as TIME, WIRED and Popular Science. He has been referred to by journalists as one of the grandfathers of virtual reality and simulation.

Matt Burlend
COO

Mr. Burlend was employed from 1996 until 1999 at Panduit Corporation, a designer of automated production equipment, as a machine design engineer. Matt Burlend has devoted most all of his professional career to the advancement of VirTra. He contributed significantly to the design, production and support of VirTra's most successful and innovative products such as the VirTra 300, the Threat-fire (TM) and advanced recoil kits. In addition, he was instrumental in managing the company from over $4 million in debt to becoming a debt-free company in less than three years. Matt Burlend is currently responsible for overseeing most of the day-to-day operations of the company. Mr. Burlend graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Mechanical Engineering Degree.

Judy A Henry
Corporate Controller

Ms. Henry has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, holding positions as Chief Financial Officer, Director of Finance and Controller for public, private and municipal corporations in the technology, accounting, venture capital and real estate sectors. From 2009 to 2015, Ms. Henry was CFO and Deputy Executive Director for Housing Kitsap, a municipal corporation based in the Pacific Northwest focused on developing and managing affordable housing. Previously, she worked as Director of Finance for Secure Asset Reporting, Inc., a provider of remote asset management solutions, which in 2007 merged with MyCom Group, Inc., an OTC-listed company. Ms. Henry has also provided CFO/Controller consultancy services in the Greater Seattle area for the CPA firm Moss Adams. Ms. Henry holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Pacific Lutheran University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Central Washington University.

Jeff Brown has been an independent CPA and financial planning service provider for the past seven years, performing financial services for a wide range of companies. Prior to this, Jeff Brown was the CFO/Controller for Gold Canyon Candles during which they grew from $8 million per year in gross revenue to $55 million per year in gross revenue. Jeff Brown also worked for Ernst & Young performing auditing work on organizations with annual revenue in excess of $100 million.

Mitchell Alan Saltz
Independent Director, Audit Committee Member, Compensation Committee Member, Nominating Committee Member

Mr. Saltz is a seasoned corporate executive and director with relevant experience in a variety of industries, including the firearms manufacturing and firearms safety and security products industries. He has served as a director of NASDAQ-listed firearms manufacturer Smith & Wesson Holding Corporation from 1998 and served as its Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer from 1998 through 2003. Since Mr. Saltz assumed the role of CEO in 1998 and joined its board, Smith & Wesson has grown in size from a company with $70 million in annual revenue to a well-recognized firearms brand with $1.4 billion in market capitalization. Mr. Saltz has also served as the Chairman and Managing Partner of Southwest Capital Partners, LLC, an investment banking firm, since 2009. In addition, since October 2012 he has served as Chairman of the Board of NASDAQ-listed Quest Resource Holding Corporation, a provider of management programs to reuse, recycle, and dispose of a wide variety of waste streams and recyclables. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Modern Round Entertainment Corporation.
