Universal Mining Corporation is a mining company who is mainly focused on obtaining mining permits and rights, exploration permits and the acquisition of small open pit gold mines from independent or private entities.<br /><br />UMC currently operates out of two International offices, one in Montreal, QC in Canada which acts as the Company's administrative head office and the other in Conakry, Guinea which serves as the mining operations head office.<br /><br />Looking towards the future UMC has set as its main goal to become a very well established gold producer in western Africa and to build strong long-term relationships with the local population and their government. UMC strongly recognizes an important social responsibility towards the local communities and believes that by operating in a socially, environmentally and ethically responsible mindset that UMC and all its contributors will all benefit from this objective. Furthermore UMC has the intention of donating or giving back a part of the profits to the local population by setting up a foundation for the people of the countries we will be operating in.
